Not much new on the pregnancy side of life. I had my doctor's appointment today and everything is fine. I haven't gained any weight in 2 weeks :D
The kids at Abby's school are fascinated with my belly. One little girl asked me today if I knew I had to go to the doctor to have the baby and I told her yes! They all want to feel my belly and wonder why it's not "squishy". They say it's big and one little girl even asked me if the head was down :) hehe Oh, and the head is in fact down. The doctor checked last time and this time and her head is still down.
So that's all that's going on with that. 5 more days until the shower!! I can't wait!

A Breath of Fresh Air

Aaaahh, the apartment is almost free of junk I don't need. Sad thing is, it still looks cluttered! But that is ok, because I know when we have a house, it will be pretty bare!! I even pulled out the refrigerator & oven and cleaned the floor & wall behind there (gross!). So all I have left is our bedroom, which shouldn't be too bad, and then I can start packing in hopes that we get to move soon! Yay!

30 Weeks!

Here's a post for you Jessica :D
Well not much is new that's why I don't post very much, so I'll just ramble for a while if you don't mind. I did have my 30 week appointment on Friday. Everything is fine. I'm gaining weight, the baby's getting bigger, the heartbeat is good, and the head is down! (for the time being atleast). I was curious to know what body part kept kicking on my right where I feel constant movement and kicks and the doctor felt and said it was the legs or feet. It feels bigger like it would be the head or something but who knows. It's so weird that there's something moving inside my body. I think I felt the most movements today than I've ever felt. I don't think she's slept all day, just moved and squirmed and wiggled and jerked all day long! I have a problem sleeping because my body kills me some nights, especially if I've cleaned that day. Yesterday I cleaned out just my bathroom (filled a big trash bag of junk if you can believe that) and when I went to bed that night and woke up in the middle of the night, I could hardly move. I could hardly get out of bed my back hurt so bad. It's like my lower back into my butt. I didn't pull anything, it just does this if I do anything "strenuous" (which I always did fine when I wasn't pregnant). I really didn't do anything hard, I actually sat in a chair and pulled stuff out of the cabinets, but I bent down to scrub the floor and the tub so maybe that's what did it. I also have this muscle pain feeling in the crease of my legs like where your leg meets your thigh, it feels like I've been walking too much or exercising up the steps. It's been that way for quite a while. It's hard for me to lift my legs to get into the car. I feel like an old crippled lady!! So I sat here yesterday and just cried because there's too many things I want to do with organizing and cleaning stuff and I just don't have time with having to work and it hurts my body to do it. So Billy tries to ask me what he can do and I tell him "nothing" because I feel like I have to be the one to do it. So I guess I will just have to give up some independence and let him help me, which brings me to the next paragraph..

Billy has a few days off from work and so I took off work tomorrow, Monday, so we could do some things together and also so I'd have a good 3 days to clean out this house. When my house is unorganized and junky, I feel all gross inside. So I did my bathroom yesterday which I already mentioned, then today was Abby's room which I won't even describe how the "before picture" looked (I actually took a picture!) and got about 7 trash bags full of clothes me and her couldn't wear and toys she didn't play with. Abby was a good helper, we held up all the toys and talked about if we wanted to keep it or not. She made good choices and we had some disagreements but we compromised in the end. haha. I cleaned out her closet which was stuffed with old clothes and shoes and now I can actually open the door and see what I have to wear. So tomorrow my next job is the bedroom and the kitchen and Billy will help with that. It feels so good to get rid of stuff that you don't need. I feel like my life is cleaned out and I can enjoy just sitting around without worrying about that cabinet over there that has who knows what in it. So this is also one less thing I have to rush to do in case we move in the next month or 2..or 3?

The shower is in 3 weeks and I'm so excited!! I can't believe I only have about 10 weeks left til I meet my daughter. Seems like it should be longer than that. Abby is still getting used to the baby name, she doesn't remember it sometimes, she called her Leslie today and she always gets the middle name Addison instead of Adelyn. She's excited though, she always talks to my belly and kisses the baby goodnight. She wants to teach the baby how to walk. It won't be too long now...

I just looked up the name meanings. Layla means "Dark Beauty" and Adelyn means "Noble Beauty"
So I guess this is going to be one beautiful girl!

Miss Bun has a name!!

As you can see from above, our little girl has a name! I'm so glad to finally call her something, and less stress off my mind too! I know not everybody is going to like the name, I guess that's just how it is when you name your baby, but we're happy with it, and can't wait to meet her!!
