28 Weeks tomorrow! woohoo! The doctor's appointment went well. I gained 6 pounds this month! She said this was the time when you usually go through a huge growth spurt and a lot of women gain about 10 pounds this month, so I was doing good (in her eyes atleast). I feel huge folks. Not only in my stomach, just everywhere. When I have this baby, I have a goal of losing 40-50 pounds. 50 POUNDS FOLKS!!! Do you know how hard that is going to be?!?!? I'm going to do the Bethany diet. I'm not going to tell myself that certain foods are forbidden. I'm just going to make better choices when eating. Grilled instead of fried, veggies instead of carbs, you know, that sort of thing. I don't know if I can lose that much (hopefully some will fall right off when the baby comes out) but I'm upset about my body and even more so now that I'm pregnant and bigger. I feel fat and unattractive, and it's not just because I'm pregnant. But anyway, onto my appointment, I drank the orange glucose stuff and got blood drawn an hour later to test for diabetes. Hopefully everything will turn out normal. The baby kicks a lot but some days she is lazy. She likes my right side for some reason. I don't know if it's her arm, foot, head or what, but she's always got some party going on there to the right of my belly button. Atleast she is alive, Billy scared me more than I've ever been scared in my life 2 days ago, I went into my bathroom and was looking in the mirror and he jumps out from behind the shower curtain. I screamed at the top of my lungs. I thought I was going to faint. I was mad at him, but I can laugh about it now. Haha.

28 Weeks
As you can see, we don't have a name picked out yet. Maybe this week we will decide. It's down to about 4 names I think. We better get a move on because like Billy's mom said, we could get to the hospital and they'll call her Jane Doe :)
Only 1 more month until the baby shower. Where did June go?? I'm so excited!

Bethany..you are a beautiful pregnant lady...you are not fat...you always have that beautiful smile of yours and the pegnancy glow..you keep your self fixed up so nice and i love you being my daughter...you are beautiful and Billy is so blessed to have you..I can't wait to take care of her for you..will she be like lala????we don't know but it will be exciting....
yeah...it's gone by fast (for me at least!). I'm sure it's not the same for you. ;-) I love the pics you have been posting of yourself. You're absolutely beautiful & radiant!
Its always hard at the end of a pregnancy and you gain the weight...you feel like you stated..you will lose alot at first b/c you are still young and its easier to lose when you are young...I gained almost 50 lbs. every pregnancy and it took about 1 year to lose it all without even trying...if you eat low carb low fat you will lose even more...and of Course Helen is right, you always look beautiful and always dress nice and take good care of yourself but better than that you have a incredibly loving and giving attitude and spirit that outshines anything on the outside
ahhh, the comments are so sweet! DITTO!!
You will lose 20 lbs just from the birth, don't worry about it. I've heard most people that have lost alot of weight, that they just "eat right", not junk, and then they give themselves one day a week where they can just eat whatever...makes it something to look forward to, and you're not depriving yourself of everything good forever...
mom gained 50 lbs with each child??????
that's news to me too
I didn't know little mom gained that much....if she can lose it, you can Bethany. Here is some good advice from a mother of three...I was so concerned about losing weight after I had Caden that I realized my priorities were mixed up and I had plenty of time to get to where I wanted to be, and am still working on it! I concentrated on enjoying my baby, and then the hard work came later. I am happy to say that I have now lost all the baby weight after two years! And I feel great! I will be your encouragement, but for now you have a greater task at hand!
love you...
ok so its abut true...I weighed 105 or less most of my life and always weighed around 150 at 9 months pregnant with each of my children whether it was the 7 pound girls (all 7 something pounds) or the all 8.8 pound boys and I lost it all before a year except with the first 3 within 7 months or so...I weighed 98 pounds when Luke was 6 months old probably due to him being a big ole lug to drag around and nursing so much etc....the often nursing is the key to losing the weight....also being young as it got harder the older I got,,,
