Well Well, I guess you thought I fell off the face of the earth. Anyways, on to the subject...Layla is getting big, I feel her every move, twitch, sniff, hiccup, gurgle (not really but it feels like it anyway).... She makes me very uncomfortable these days! My feet are double swollen these days too and my shirts barely cover my belly anymore (I hate to buy more clothes at this point). I forgot how hard the last few weeks are, and I'm triple tired than normal. I can't believe I'm due in only 4 weeks, it feels like it will never be here but on the other hand I know it's just around the corner! I will post pictures soon, but right now I'm about to fall asleep at the computer, so will be back tomorrow! Ta-Ta for now! hehe

Go to bed early and take care of yourself! She is almost here! I always had to keep positive the last few weeks cause I felt like I was going to die if I didn't get the baby out! You are doing great!
So the blood pressure is ok?
yes
I woke up at 10:15 this morning, finished putting up the bathroom, was 12:30 and I was still tired so I took a 2 hour nap, woke up and was still tired all day
ha, that sucks! well, it'll be over soooooooon!!!! after Layla is born, you will have alot of free time...you know how newborns are, asleep basically all day...so you will be surprised at how much time you will have at the first few weeks to get things done around the house while she's sleeping!
so we need to know the "birth details"...I'm curious what your plans are, not only for the birth but for breastfeeding, going back to work, etc
Ok, well I'll just answer that right here. Step A, I will be having an epidural. Step B, provided that all that goes good, I will take off 6 weeks from work. The first 2 weeks will be considered my vacation so I will get paid for that. After that, I will have to see if I can stretch my savings for the next 4 weeks. If not, I'm not sure what I'll do. But the bills have to be paid, so I'll just have to figure it out when the time comes. After the 6 weeks, I had originally planned on working 3 days a week, but now that we have a house payment, I don't think that is going to be possible. So I plan on going back to work as much as I can and I have no idea how much that will be but I am highly dreading it being full time because I know I won't get much sleep with the baby being that little. I also have the decision to make of who and when Layla will be taken care of while I work. Basically, I am just waiting til I have her and seeing what my options are at that time. As far as breastfeeding, I plan on doing it until I go back to work, however long or short that may be, but I am up in the air about that because I don't know if it is worth it if I have to go back to work 6 weeks later. I'm sure I my boss will be flexible with my hours, so I think I will have the option of working in the afternoon/evenings if I had to. Although I would love to work 3 days a week, I doubt it is going to work out as I would be losing $1100/month and that is a lot. I am praying that everything comes together and things will just work out somehow. Until then, I can't worry about tomorrow.
GOOD plan! You could breastfeed with no problem the first 6 weeks at least, it's better than not at all! give it a few weeks then wean off till you go back to work. the first few weeks are the most crucial for baby to get the colostrum and the new milk!
Would you consider watching a child during the week to help make up for the lost income? you may find someone that needs after-school care a few days a week, or possibly even something to fit right in with your schedule of only working 3 days a week. It's not as bad as it sounds. babysitting is so convenient, plus you get to stay at home and still make money!
I'll keep my ears out for good ideas for you to make the extra money. I already know I will be praying for God to bless you financially and take care of your needs...all will work out!!
