I keep looking for a good source to get a hairbow in Layla's hair. The baby headbands they make are always too small and squeezes the baby's head (why don't they make those things bigger??). So, a girl I know has a baby girl without much hair, just like Layla. I saw her the other day and asked how she got this bow to stay in her hair and she told me her secret...Scrapbooking Stickers, found at Wal Mart in the fabric section. Ain't she a cutie??!!

Here is something else that works....while she is asleep, "glue" the bow on her hair using a nice dallop of strong hold hair gel as glue. The gel dries and it works. It washes out in the bath. Also, she doesn't have enough hair yet, but there are those little bows that have tiny metal clips you can probably find on the internet. You pinch them and slide them in, if that makes sense. The plastic clip bows NEVER work.
She looks like a little doll!
These have a tiny piece of double sided tape, so it just sticks on.
Hey, I just realized that you say "Hairdoodies" like I do!
Oh yes, always hairdoodies. Abby doesn't even know what they're really called. HAHAHA
I say to Amy "let's get a hair-do".
Yes, I had heard about the hair bows you gel into the hair and it works well (so I've heard)...Amy had so much hair when she born, I had to skip all the "little" clips and go straight to the adult sized ones! hahahah
The nurse at the hospital said they use KY to make the bows stay!
That is cool! The nurse I had with Amber just tied the ribbon in her hair....I had to cut it out! I was so mad! Oh well...it grew back...with avengance!
are you going to keep this blog now that layla is not a newborn anymore? no reason in singling her out, huh! I was just wondering...
I don't know, I haven't updated it in a while. I just put her milestones on here I guess!
