I figured out that I was having a hard time finding a name because whoever bought this baby name book that's been passed around the family (the small but very thick book-2 of them) has a million foreign names and barely any "normal" names. They are all like Abdula, Muhammed, Juan, etc.
So anyway, that's all I had to say.

what, you didn't want to name your baby a completely non-traditional name like abdula or mohammed?
That was probably my book of international names because I was trying to find something unique.
How about an oriental name like "Aoki"?

I see on the voting system that you like Gabrielle but you didn't like Isabella??? They are both the same to me, although I LOVE Isabelle so much better. the name angel reminds me of a stripper name (sorry all you named Angel out there). My older asian neighbor's name is Caroline so I automatically associate the name with her. Layla is too Hawaiian. that's my 2 cents.
Ok who's the one who voted Caroline. Was it you MOM? Because I know she wanted to name Vangie Carolina
