Week 24

I have hit the 6th month!!!! Yippee!! Well this week has been pretty much the same except much more tiredness. I can hardly stay awake at work. I was sick 3 mornings this week, ran out of my nausea medicine, so had to get some more, but it wasn't bad because I feel better before I even leave the house for work. The nurse thought I would have problems with my insurance paying for the medicine but I tried to explain to her that it was fine last time and she went ahead and gave me the same prescription I had last time, which is a miracle working pill! Anyway, my 24 week check up was yesterday. I gained 5 pounds this month, which kind of surprised me because I don't think I eat as often as I probably should (I know, the gain doesn't all come from eating food), but anyway that makes a total of 11 pounds and I'm half way there. I feel like I'll start looking like a cow in a few weeks here :( Anyway, The midwife said that I was "measuring further but that was ok" (she was looking at her papers and more talking to herself and not to me so I didn't quite catch what she said) and so I asked her "what?" And she said I was probably going to have this baby early, and so I said "really?" And she said "oh yeah! Probably a week or 2!". Now how she seemed so sure of herself is beyond me, but I hope she's right!! So I guess this baby is bound to be born on someone's birthday. I can't count how many people have told me to have the baby on their birthday since theirs is also in September. Billy's dad's is the 9th, and that would be 11 days sooner than my due date, so I think it would be neat to have it on his birthday since Abby's birthday is the same day as Savannah's. Me and Abby went to the pool today and God forbid that anyone would sell any maternity bathing suits around here, so I gathered up a strapless shirt and shorts that I could atleast get some sort of tan in and I think I got sunburnt on my arms but Abby had loads of fun. They had a pool party and she did a bubble gum blowing contest...even though she doesn't know how to blow bubbles.
